First of all,... no longer pretends to be more a decorative painting with a striking style in particular, or fashion, nor a technical mimesis and representational figurative of a theme, neither match the color of a furniture determined by color, or compete with a Photorealistic way photo printing, also it is not my intention more to make repetitive crafts, to compete in a style or flashing or detailed fashion, or appropiating, revisiting or recreating a theme of MasterPainters of Past as in my Starts, I Have passed through these steps, therefore I can Now, that is no longer more, and of course it is not also a speech that pretends to convince nobody.
Something that I Really Know, is that I Feel Really Lucky of Having to precise something that Iknow, Now, It could be appreciated for Big Painters of Past in Mexico Like Rufino Tamayo, and Francisco Toledo, among others, (Also of Oaxaca), INTENDING TO SHARE THIS VISION WITH THOSE WHO CAN RECOGNIZE THROUGH ITS OWN LIVING, (WHAT I CONSIDER, IS THE MOST VALUABLE I CAN SHARE THROUGH IT), LIKE A MIRROR, BECAUSE I AM ABLE WITH MY TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES TO EXPRESS IT THROUGH MY PAINT, AND I DREAM IT TO MEAN IT, TO REDISCOVER AN ASIMILACION OR A SIMPLE REFLECTION (AT LEAST), OF A NEW VISION WITHIN AN HYPERSENSORIAL AND ULTRAPERIFERIC CONTEXT, RENEWED OF THE COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCE, THROUGH A NARRATIVE AUTOREFERENTIAL, USING THE HUMAN BODY LIKE A LIENZO WITHIN THE SAME LINEN, LINKING IT TO SYMBOLS AND SYMBOLS THAT WILL MEET IT WITHIN A CONTEMPORARY REFLECTION ...
The work done in Amate Bark Paper is essentially iconic and figurative, on the cultural symbols of my environment. The support chosen for this series also contributes to conceptualize, from the Nahuatl "amatl tree leaf" prepared with the ancient technique used in pre-hispanic codices, using the media, mainly acrylic and mixed with special attention to enhance the texture of the paper.
